What We Do
LGS are cold rolled steel building specialists. We offer everything from design and supply only of a cold rolled frame, right through to the design, supply, and construction of the complete project.
We fully understand that many of our clients require and prefer a full ‘turnkey’ service. Whilst our clients are busy running their own organisations we can offer a comprehensive service that encompasses many elements of the build process.
We have therefore developed our Total Construction Package, managing the entire process, leaving our clients free to do what they do best.
The LGS Total Construction Package gives a seamless and comprehensive service to our clients, from obtaining planning permission to the handover of a completed building.
When combined with the advantages of our cold rolled system, including reduced foundation requirements, faster lead times and far less disruption on site, the result is a compelling business case and wonderful projects!
Clients can pick and choose from the following disciplines:
Planning
We can apply for planning permission on behalf of clients. Our consultants compile planning support statements, produce location and proposal plans, attend site meeting and discussions with clients, submit pre-app and planning applications and provide ongoing support including contact with planning authorities and others.
Building Design
Every LGS project is unique. Every building is therefore an individual, bespoke, tailored and precision engineered solution. Our in house design capabilities enable us to design and estimate every project in minute detail, quickly and accurately. Prior to producing construction drawings for client approval, all our designs and calculations are subject to further scrutiny by an external structural engineer. The result is a safe, strong, robust, attractive building, built to last.
Groundworks and Drainage
Our team are vastly experienced at dealing with all aspects of groundworks. From surveys and contamination reports, through to foundation and drainage design, dealing with building control and ultimately to the construction of the entire civils package, we manage the whole process. This can include bringing all services to the site. Our civils team can also build brick or block walls, brick plinths and provide other above ground building works.
Mechanical and Electrical
Our contracts team can manage all aspects of M&E within the project. From bringing services into the building to designing and installing plumbing, heating, and electrical systems.
Fit Out
We can build internal offices, toilets, kitchens, partition walls, mezzanine floors, staircases... in fact anything inside the building.
External Works
From bollards to Armco barriers, from carparks to cycle racks, and from exterior lighting to bin stores we have every area covered. Perimeter fencing, gates, even CCTV. You name it, we can provide it to finish off the complete scheme.
