Coffee shop and café (Ripon)
Our client is a well-established garden centre business who are expanding and adding a coffee shop and cafe to the site.
LGS Projects was recommended to them and we were asked to provide design proposals and costings for one of our cold rolled steel framed buildings as an alternative to the original traditional structural steel frame proposed.
Our cold rolled steel frame construction was ideal for this type of project and having won the business, we also provided the foundation design to suit our cold rolled steel system. Because our system requires less foundation than traditional structural steel, our design saved the client 40% on foundation costs.
We were on site for just 14 days and installed the cold rolled frame, full building regs insulated cladding to the roof and walls and all flashings, guttering and downpipes.
In keeping with a retail environment close to members of the public, the client was delighted that we always insist on tidy sites and that our teams work to the highest H&S standards throughout.
