Our client is a well-known and respected engineer, restoring, preparing, and driving classic racing cars at prestigious events across Europe.
He has recently diversified into prestige and classic car storage.
He wanted a new building at his North Yorkshire base. He approached LGS, and we assisted with obtaining planning permission, and supplied a lovely cold rolled framed building, clad to full building regulations in Kingspan Group fully insulated composite panels.
It was an unusual job for us, as it was supply only. He had his own team to erect the building. Within our price we provided all the structural calculations, to enable the foundation to be designed, and a full set of construction drawings. We visited site, and gave telephone assistance to his team, who did a very professional job!
We supplied and fitted the powered overhead sectional doors.
The collaboration resulted in a delighted customer, and a superb building, which will be temperature and humidity controlled and will provide an excellent facility for these beautiful cars.
